Mady Rose Children's Boutique

“Hi, I’m Shannon. I started working in specialty retail when I was 18 and have been in love with it ever since! I love talking to people, building relationships, and fashion. After working in women’s specialty apparel for over a decade, my husband and I had a daughter and moved back to central Illinois. In looking for great children’s clothing, I was often unable to find the perfect pieces for our daughter’s wardrobe. At first, I just joked that I was going to open a boutique and source the right products, but after repeating it to my husband, he said, “just go for it,” and Mady Rose was on the move!

I have such a passion for styling and really enjoy getting to know clients that I wanted to start something fun and be able to provide what our market is really missing - children and toddler fashion. Pieces that are selected and styled for little life adventures. In my full time job leading business development efforts at BLDD Architects, I get to talk to a variety of clients and connect them with people to make their lives easier. Mady Rose is similar, connecting with people to make their searching easier and fashion forward pieces accessible.  I went to high school in Warrensburg and Megan is my hairstylist.  It has been so inspiring to watch The Pair grow over the years, see what it has turned into and now join in the fun!”
