Happy Sewist

The summer that I was 11 my mother was looking for something for me to do. She heard about a 4-H sewing club starting up that was going to meet right across the street from our house. We had my grandmother's old Singer treadle machine and that’s what I used for my first sewing lessons and what started my love for sewing. One summer, there was a sale on Singers downtown and I begged my mom and dad for a new machine. They agreed to buy me a new machine, but made me promise I would use it. Well, I used that machine for almost 30 years. Fast forward to the year 2000, I had always had a love for computers and I decided to buy my first embroidery machine. Now, I have three embroidery machines and am learning a new program to use them to be able to design a variety of different items. I hope you enjoy what I have done with them.
