The Perfect Pair’s Young Entrepreneur’s Market will focus on developing the businesses of young, creative minds! Kids age 7 and up are encouraged to create a product to sell at the market. It could be artwork, jewelry or something reclaimed for a new purpose. Those wishing to participate should review the guidelines below and submit an application by June 1, 2024.

All Young Entrepreneur booths must have an adult supervisor. This is to ensure we have space for everyone who wants to participate and have time for marketing.

Each Young Entrepreneur is allowed a 10x10 ft. space. Spaces are first come, first serve.

Each Young Entrepreneur is responsible for their own setup and takedown, including tables, chair, display etc. Setup is the day before, 10:00 am-4 pm OR 8:30 – 9:30 am, on the day of the event. Booths must be ready to open by 10am. Take-down begins at 4pm and should not be completed sooner. The Perfect Pair is not responsible for any items left behind.
- Young Entrepreneurs are responsible for collecting payment for their items sold, including sales tax. The sales tax will be recorded for each transaction and paid to the Illinois Department of Revenue along with their event form. We will provide the form needed to submit to Illinois Department of Revenue. This is a legal requirement.
